WOKHA, NOVEMBER 23 (MExN): In pursuance to approval of Wokha DPDB October meeting and in order to protect government land, the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha has directed all government departments to obtain Land Patta from the Office of the DC.
In a notification, the DC informed that in the first phase, all outright purchased lands and lands without legal or ownership issue will be taken up. In this connection, departments have been informed to submit application for Land Patta along with copy of all legal and land related documents, verification report by District Administration, survey and scale map by DLRSO, Wokha.
In addition, the DC also asked the departments to submit treasury challan (in original) for payment of land premium and annual rent and one-time payment for Patta book at DC Office. Further, issuance of Land Patta to private individuals will be taken up after completion of issuance to government departments, the notification stated.
