Wokha entrepreneurs to agitate for non-release of PMEGP 2012-13

Wokha, February 17 (MExN): The Wokha District Entrepreneur Association has decided to hold agitation against State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda, and Axis Bank, and all the implementing agencies (KVIB, DIC) for non-release of Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) 2012-13. In this regard, the Association in a press release today informed all the beneficiaries under year of entrepreneur (YOE), Government of Nagaland 2010, and PMEGP 2012-13 to be present during the agitation on February 24, 8:00 am sharp at SBI, Wokha Town.

Meanwhile, the Association informed all public that “the agitation is being called as Wokha district PMEGP beneficiaries were being delayed and harassed by the banks for a very long time.” In order to show grievances and to pave way for the future unemployed youths of Wokha district, the Association felt necessary to take up the issue in public, it stated.

The Association further requested the public of Wokha Town for their kind co-operation and to bear all inconveniences caused by the agitation.
