Wokha’s Suren Colony celebrates silver jubilee

Wokha, December 30 (MExN): Suren Colony celebrated its 25th year of existence at Anganwadi centre, Wokha town with much pomp and gaiety on December 29.  

Young and old came together with a dream to forget and forgive the past mistakes and to celebrate once more for all the blessings the good Lord has bestowed upon its citizens since its inception of naming the colony by the then SDO Civil, Nzumongo Ngullie, Rev. L K Tsanglao, Pastor WTBC, and Father Immanuel of Don Bosco School, a press release informed.  

On the occasion, Suren Colony Mother’s Association and Suren Colony Youth Organization presented special numbers while Nlongtsu Shitiri, Deacon WTBC, offered prayer of blessing.  

Statistical and finance report was given by Tsenyimo Humtsoe and lastly, Yilumo Kithan, the oldest man in the colony pronounced the benediction prayer.
