Workshop on Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2 held in Mon

Mon, November 18 (MExN): One-day district workshop on Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2 (IMI 2) was held at Mon District at the conference hall, CMO Office on November 18. 


Delivering the keynote address, Dr Kechongol Sophie, CMO Mon said that the Government of India has been stressing for the welfare of our people to the extent of providing repeated trainings and workshops to the service providers and yet, with all these technical knowledge acquired, if we are unable to make the services accessible to the beneficiaries, the consequences that comes along will not be God's will but a complete fault on our part. 


He also mentioned that the Intensified Mission Indradhanush is a programme to reach the unreached and to hunt for the dropouts which allows not only your valued service but dedication to go extra mile so that no child is left behind and that every child is benefitted, which becomes a huge responsibilities with a huge blessings awaited. With these words, Dr Sophie welcomed the Project Officer UNDP to start the workshop.


RK Monsang, Project Officer UNDP and Dr Sashinle Tep, DPO (UIP&RCH) detailed on the topics of the workshop i.e., Intensification of Immunization in India, key activities, micro-planning including head count exercise, monitoring and supervision, recording and reporting, communication, review meetings including participation of other departments-STF/DTF/UTF formats and timelines, way forward and ended with closing remarks.


The workshop was attended by the Medical Officer incharge, nurses, BPMs, and Asha co-ordinators of all the blocks.
