CHÜMOUKEDIMA, APRIL 7 (MExN): North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) Chümoukedima organised a comprehensive workshop on interview skills and resume writing at the NEISSR Hall on April 6 with Dr Kekhrietshunuo Kire, a trainer and mentor as the resource person.

Kire stressed the pivotal role of active listening in professional environments, urging trainees to cultivate this skill. She emphasised the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and capitalizing on the opportunities provided by the institute.
Transitioning to the SWOT analysis segment, participants engaged in identifying their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Kire guided them in formulating clear goals and harnessing their reasoning abilities for continuous self-improvement and skill enhancement. The interactive session saw trainees sharing their personal experiences and insights, accentuating the positive attributes of the Institute. Kirie further instilled the “3Es” principle: Striving for excellence in one's endeavors, consistently excelling, and actively exploring the opportunities that lie ahead. She underscored the notion that knowledge is an ongoing pursuit, urging trainees to embrace discomfort and challenge in order to excel in their careers.

The workshop culminated with a vote of thanks by James Phanungkiu, President of SCSC NEISSR.
