
Commemorating the World Photography Day, the Photography Club of Dimapur converged at Le Bistro, Dimapur under the theme ‘Beautiful Nagaland’ on August 19.
Ababe Ezung, a professional photographer and owner of ‘The Portrait Studio’ addressing the shutterbugs as the guest of honour accounted his early days as a photography enthusiast in the mid 1990s and having witnessed two generation of photography, Ezung said technology has advanced beyond our imagination. Along with technology, photography has evolved, however with people misusing its purpose, asserted Ezung.
He heartened the shutterbugs on the honest earning one can have through photography profession and influenced the club to promote Naga culture beyond the state.
The Photography Club of Dimapur also organised its first photography contest on the theme ‘Beautiful Nagaland’ in collaboration with Nikon Experience Zone (Redefine). The winners of the contest were announced on Saturday with Apfükru Dolie winning the first prize and Vehukho Tetso second prize. Morung Express News
