X CHANGE North East Youth NGO summit in Dimapur

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): X CHANGE North East Youth NGO summit organised by CAN Youth, a Youth led Registered NGO based in Dimapur, Nagaland will be held in Dimapur from the March 15 to 17.   CAN Youth is organising the summit for the first time for NGOs that are run by the young people of North Eastern Region. This platform will create a youth movement by connecting the youths across Northeast to identify leadership within them, as an important component for sustainable development and long-term goals. A number of political leaders, engaging thinkers, intellectual, human rights leaders, social activist and youth icons of Northeast will be present.  

CAN Youth Founder & Chief Functionary Jenpu Rongmei and Core Team Member Levi V Sumi in a press release said that the purpose of this summit is to create a forum for young NGO leaders to discuss current challenges in the society. It will strengthen the network and promote the emerging excellence NGOs and introduce the channel of recognition, platform to redress long – standing grand challenges of society among NGOs in North East. Strategies and practices will be shared by experts from around the region and other states of India. Guaranteeing to the participants and delegates a learning experience.   Also keeping all Youth led/focused NGOs under the spectrum of unison, this summit offers a platform to the delegates to disseminate with topics concerning our region’s current issues.   The Summit will feature NGO presentation by founder/speaker of respective NGOs, plenary session by renowned figure and grassroots experts on community and public institution, motivational sharing by renowned social entrepreneur, social activist and bureaucrats, action plan, group activity, Closure Event of North East Changelooms Fellowship.   The summit under the mentorship of DC Dimapur Kesonyu Yhome IAS and Dr. Neel Konwar a psychologist, strategy, policy, learning-development from Guwahati.
