YAA resolves on proxy teachers, govt employees

Kohima, March 30 (MExN): The Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako (YAA), Shamator has resolved to totally prohibit the engagement of proxy teachers in government schools under its jurisdiction. It was resolved during a meeting on Thursday in reference to YAA resolution No. 19 (Act 2021), Keyoungkhum K, President, YAA stated in a press release. 

The YAA during its executive meeting on March 30 at Kohima also discussed, deliberated, and resolved to strictly enforce the provisions below for the welfare of the Yimkhiung community.

“If any teacher is found on default on the august house resolution, the YAA shall take befitting action,” it also resolved. 

All the government employees posted under the YAA’s jurisdiction have also been directed to report to their place of posting and perform their duties efficiently. In the event that any employee is found to be defying this office directive, necessary action shall be taken against the defaulter, it stated. 

As contained in YAA resolution No. 7 (Act 2006 & 2007), it also stated that illicit exploitation of flora & fauna within its jurisdiction is strictly prohibit. “Whosoever contravenes the resolution shall be liable to face stringent action. Federating units are directed to keep a check on the same and report any anomalies found to the YAA office,” it added.
