Youngs' Club joins national campaign for change

Dimapur: ‘Youth for Change’ initiative of Youngs’ Club celebrated Valentines’ Day at its office with different programmes like ‘My Space, My unManifesto’, Coffee Chat, Gift Exchanges and ‘Love Stories’.

2014 Valentine Day was celebrated through sharing ‘Love Stories’ for Society, HIV/AIDS positive people, children, surviving women who faced domestic violence, Disabilities, against tribalism, drop out students, drug users and broken families.

Youngs' Club Youth Coordinator Zhove Lohe in a press release stated that ‘Love Stories 2014’ is a national youth led campaign in the form of a survey capturing deep-rooted in-equality prevalent in Indian society and in most of the cases propagated by one or other form of State Apparatus!  The idea is to be able to capture 1000 Love Stories with a difference! These will be the stories where a young person's dream to have a fulfilling love relationship has been persecuted at the direction of hand full of powerful people who believes in violence more than love! Who believes in one or another form of norm than ever changing pattern of Love among individuals! And who believe in implementing their believes using violence/correction as a mean!

Youngs’ Club is a part of campaign and aims to reach out 1000 youth to discuss their vision and take their promises to bring changes in the society. The promises collected from the youth will be handed to the political parties to put the promises in their respective party manifesto in the coming Lok Sabha Election.

The team of ‘Youth for Change’ an initiative of Youngs’ Club will reach out to more youth through one to one, workshop and seminars to collect their promises for bringing changes in the society.
