Chi & Mon Land Owners’ Youth Association (CMLOYA) conducted a mass social work at Mon HQ on December 9.
Armed with brooms, spade, machete, volunteers from Chi and Mon villages cleared the grasses, filled potholes, and picked up all wrappers, plastics bags and bottles on the street.
The social work culminated at the Deputy Commissioner's office, where the DC of Mon, Thavaseelan, IAS, thanked the Association for the good work and encouraged to continue the same even in future.
CMLOYA president, Leipho and his colleagues acknowledged the District Administration and all the members for their support and cooperation without which the social work could not have been a success. Leipho further appealed to continue with the same spirit even in the days to come.
The Association also requested all the citizens of Mon Town to keep the town clean and make it a better place to live in.
