
Zunheboto, March 4 (MExN): The Zunheboto Area Public Organization (ZAPO) has issued an ultimatum to the proprietor of M/s Multi Builders to appear in person for the meeting with the organization and the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto on March 11.
On March 4, the ZAPO statement said that the repair works including black topping at NH 702/A, Asukho to Zunheboto was executed by M/s Multi Builders. However, the road was damaged within three months of completion. In this regard, the organization had taken up the matter with the contractor through the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto.
“The contractor assured to repair the road vide his letter No. NIL dated 16/02/2019 but failed to comply his undertaking,” ZAPO wrote in its statement.
It also added that the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto had convened multiple meetings in this connection. However, the proprietor deputed his representative, who could not give any decision.
The Deputy Commissioner has convened another meeting on March 11 for the same purpose, the ZAPO statement said, and added that, “the proprietor of M/s Multi Builders as well as the executive engineer NH Mokokchung Division should attend the meeting in person so as to discuss the issue across the table” and settle it once and for all.
In case of failure to comply with the ultimatum, ZAPO warned that it will resort to road blockade at NH 702/A Asukho to Zunheboto with effect from March 12.
