Zayevoto Kiso emerged the champion title of Under 16 category of 58th wrestling meet of Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) held here today Kohima Local Ground.
Zayevoto, son of Bisesato Kiso hailed from Sakhabama and pocketed a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.
Thejasevo Mejura, son of Lt. Kuvi Mejura of Phesama stood second position and awarded with Rs. 15,000.
Atou Rülu, son of Vilapra Rülu of Mima stood third position and awarded with Rs. 8000 while fourth place winner Sweyiesal Kotso, son of Kehoda Kotso from Kidima pocketed Rs. 5000.
Quarter finalists received Rs. 2000 each.
Atou Rülu was adjusted as the best tactic wrestler Under 16 category and awarded with Rs. 5000.
Kekhrie Yhoshu, Neithongulie Kuotsu, Kevime Vitsu and Kelengol Kikhi who bagged 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th position in the senior category on Wednesday, have been awarded with Rs. 80,000, Rs. 60,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively.
Quarter finalists in the senior category also received Rs. 5000 each.
Atuo Tevo of Kidima declared as best tactic wrestler in senior category and received Rs. 5000.
Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, Managing Director KOHIMAS graced the closing function as the guest of honour and gave away prize to the winners.
The closing function as chaired by SASA joint athletics & games secretary Neisavoto Albert Zashümo.
Prize distribution was led by SASA joint wrestling secretary Vimhal Kikhi while vote of thanks was proposed by SASA vice president Zaprani Mekro.
