Medziphema, January 11 (MExN): Calling the Sumi Nagas as one of the most widely distributed Naga tribe across Nagaland, Zhaleo Rio has urged the community to strive towards bringing unity among Nagas.
“They have the requisite ability,” Rio insisted while speaking as the chief guest at the 17th General Conference of Sakipheto Range Students' Union which was observed from January 3 to 5 at Zhuikhu Village under the theme "Explore the possibilities".
It may be noted that there are 7 federating village units clubbed in Sakipheto Range under Medziphema sub-division.
Addressing the students, Rio noted that the world today is extremely competitive and fast-paced where only the sincere and committed can achieve their goals. Therefore, he urged, “students of today must explore all possibilities to hone their knowledge for tomorrow.”
The event included song presentations, reports, cultural shows among others and culminated with a traditional feast.
