The four day long G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (12th Kohima Open Tournament/Men & Women) under the aegis of the Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA), concluded today at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).
Zing-Zing Kezo Town emerged the champion title of men’s category and lifted G Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy along with cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakh.
MH- 10 Kohima bagged runner up and pocketed Rs 80,000 along with trophy.

Losing semi-finalists Kaji Najrul Assam and Kiruphema Youth Organization B awarded with Rs 25,000 each.
Joyson and Mani, both from Zing Zing Kezo Town won Best Setter and Best Spiker award respectively and received Rs. 5000 each.
In Women’s category, MADFA Dimapur emerged the champion title and fetched a cash prize of Rs. 80,000 along with trophy.
Teen Star Manipur bagged runner-up and awarded with Rs 50,000 and trophy.
Losing semi finalist Titan’s Club Kohima and Serenity Spiker’s Kohima awarded with Rs. 15,000 each.
Lhingpichoi of Teen Star Manipur and Sangita Das of MADFA Dimapur bagged individual award for best setter and spiker respectively and received Rs 5000 each.
MLA C Manpon Konyak graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Riikravolie Riilho, co-convenor, organizing committee.
Altogether, 25 teams from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland joined the tournament.
