Zunheboto bids farewell to outgoing DC

Zunheboto, March 17 (MExN): Zunheboto district bade farewell to its outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Peter Lichamo, IAS on March 17. The outgoing DC has been promoted as Secretary Home Department Kohima. 

A DIPR report stated that the outgoing DC in his farewell speech requested the people to give all the support and cooperation to the new Deputy Commissioner as they had given him, so that the developmental progress is not hampered and people live in peace and harmony. Lichamo said that despite his best effort, there still remain a lot to be done and he requested the public to be strong and continue their good work with strong determination and co-operation with the administration. He added that though he will be joining his new office soon, he will always be there for the people of Zunheboto and asked them to call on him if they ever need his help.

ADC Hq, Moakumzuk Tzudir said that it was an honour to have worked under such an effective administrator and that they have learnt a lot from him and despite their various short comings the Deputy Commissioner was always there for them. ADC Satakha, Kiusumong Tikhir speaking on behalf of all the outpost officers described him as a very diplomatic person.
