Zunheboto DPDB meeting conducted

Zunheboto, April 8 (DIPR): The Zunheboto monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on April 8 at DC Conference Hall under the chairmanship of DC and Vice chairman, DPDB, Temsu Longkumer.

  Reviewing the last meeting, the board approved the setting up of tribal hostel cum coaching centre at Zunheboto. District Soil Conservation Officer (DSCO), Zhekheto Awomi apprised the board on the deteriorating conditions of drainage system at DC Hill West Colony which was constructed way back in 1980's. The members after thorough deliberations agreed to request the legislators for construction of RCC Drainage under Common Pool.   District Programme Officer (DPO) also highlighted the forthcoming celebration of National Panchayat Day at District and Block Level from April 15 to 24. In this regard, the DC asked every District Level Officers to attend the programme without fail. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from the chair.
