Zunheboto, May 18 (MExN): Reaffirming the welfare of students’ development and excellence, the Zunheboto Range Students Union (ZRSU) convened a consultative meeting with the faculties of Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto and Shovishe Memorial High School, Zunheboto on May 17.
According to a DIPR report, grievances regarding shortage of subject teachers were taken note of, and ideals for teacher-students relation were discussed at length. The foremost resolution undertaken was to eradicate the proxy teachers after summer break in all the GHSS/GHS/GMS/GPS under Zunheboto area/range with punitive measures to revamp and improve the education system, and supported by follow-up action.
The Union further stated that although the roots of proxies may have grown deeper, yet it should not be taken leniently or ignored and, therefore, the Union implored all the concerned stakeholders to work together for the betterment of the younger generation.
