Kohima, August 24 (MExN): The Zhadima Village Youth and Sports Organization (ZVYSO) today organized a daylong seminar at Zhadima Community Hall. It was attended by all sections of the village community.


Speaking on the topic “Unity,” Roko Angami, VDB Secretary Zhadima emphasized on the power of unity saying that the sense of oneness must come from the heart and not from the mind. 


He urged the denizens to lift and support one another in every field by giving constructive criticisms. 


He further lauded the unity shown by the village community in obstructing the commissioning of water project at Zhadima due to the irregularities of the project.


Zakenei Khoubve, president Zhadima Gazetted Officers Krotho (ZGOK), who shared on the topic "Competition”, urged the need for healthy competition in all spheres, ranging from academics to business. 


In the pursuit to promote local products, he urged the farming community from the village to commercialise the local and organic produce at a larger scale.


Zhadima Village Council (ZVC) chairman Kesovilhou Chüpuo spoke on the topic "Identity." 


He shared about the history of the village and the transformation from the head hunting age to the modern era. 
He strongly urged the community to preserve and protect its oral history for generations to know about its origin and its identity.


Speaking on the topic "Excellence", President ZVYSO Vizosielie Khoubve urged the need for the young minds to come out of the box and excel in their respective fields. 


Highlighting various avenues for employment, he encouraged the youth to look for opportunities and grab it.


With over hundreds of attendees, the seminar concluded after short speeches by four village elders namely Thepfurio Miario, Neiyalie Pfüsenuo, Sabeilhou Kuotsu and Tseilie Sanchu.
