Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): Discovering the movement of UG cadres in general area Haukha Maning Leikai, troops of 15 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched operation in the area and apprehended one KCP (MC) terrorist at around 11.45 pm on January 14. The accused was identified as Laishram Inaotomba,36 yrs, s/o Laishram Tombichao, r/o Haukha Maning Leikai who was handed over to Thoubal Police station.
In yet another incident, troops of 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched operation in general area Sabungkhok and apprehended one KCP (City Meitei) terrorist at around 1:00 am on January 15. The apprehendee was identified as Wanhgkhem Romen Singh,25 yrs, s/o Late W Manglem Singh,r/o Sabungkhok. These incidents were informed here by the AR in a press note.
