CSUK celebrates general session cum freshers’ social

Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The Kohima Chakhesang Students' Union (KCSU) celebrated its 57th General Session-cum-Fresher's Social at State Academy Hall Kohima on September 22.  

A press release by KCSU General Secretary Viewolo Koza stated that Minister for PWD Tongpang Ozukum graced the occasion as the guest speaker. In his speech, he reminded the students to know how to define aim, vision and purpose of their life. Advising them to take positive attitude in every approach, he said no matter what the results may be they should believe their success is inevitable.  

The minister also spoke on the importance of timing and stated that one should know how to honour time so that they don’t have to regret later. He urged the students to build their confident, without confidence, life cannot move ahead, without confidence all your effort will be in vain, he said. He advised the students to fear God and have trust on him “by growing and using our faith and trust in the Lord we can be strengthen to fulfil His will for our lives and that is true success,” he said.  

The program was chaired by Veteu Koza, invocation Rokosano Koza, followed by the KCSU presidential address delivered by Zacusato Theyo, greetings from Lavoto Chizo CSU President, exhortation by Theja therei president CHK and General Secretary Report from Viewolo Koza.  

In the second session, Kevekha Kevin Zehol (NCS) Addl Director ATI and Addl Secy graced the program as session speaker. He asserted that, the students should be dedicated in their pursuit in this age of competitive and realistic world.  

He ended his speech by advising the present students to preserve our rich culture heritage, flora and fauna and maintain peace and tranquillity with nature. Cwole Duolo and Atolu Kotso were declared Mr & Miss Fresher's KCSU 2018.
