A book on Naga sovereignity”Nagaland for Christ ” authored by Levi Avi was released on July 7 by Rev Zhiwhuotho Katiry with Dr Er Vikuotuolie Angami at Hotel Japfü .The book will be available in all book stores in Kohima and Dimapur.


Assam Rifles Zunheboto Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised “Pancham Football Tournament” in collaboration with Zunheboto Range Student Union( ZRSU) from July 5-7. 8 teams from Zunheboto area participated in this tournament.


Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) based on an information with regard to a fire incident affecting three houses at Purana Bazaar, Dimapur, due to an electrical short circuit on July 5, dispatched a column comprising one Officer, a Junior Commissioned Officers and 10 jawans helped in dousing the fire.


Assam Rifles, Kiphire Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) provided 16 cement bags for construction of GBs Court Protection Wall. The Kiphire GB Court was in a very and did not have any security walls and was hence being used for various nefarious activities.


Assam rifles Phek battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized an interaction with GBs and VCCs at Akhen and Ziphu, Phek district on July 7. The aim of the interaction was to address the issues pertaining to security and development of Pochury area. 39 village members including GBs and VCCs were in attendance.


Zunheboto Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organised an interaction programme with the GBs and Village Elders of Chare town area on July 8 to enhance relation between the civil populace of the area and Assam Rifles. 65 people including the President of All GBs Association, Head GBs, GBs, Pastor, Village Guard In-Charge, ESMs and members of Village Council attended the session.
