Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): A general meeting of NPF Minority Wing was held at Dimapur NPF Party Office Conference Hall on January 19. The house unanimously resolved to form 2 Dimapur II AC of NPF Minority Wing.
Selected list of members from 2 Dimapur II AC was forwarded to its central office for necessary formalities to form 2 Dimapur II AC under Dimapur division office.
A press release from Arun Kr Mishra, General Secretary, NPF Minority Wing, Central stated that party workers along with new members of 13 wards from Dimapur II AC attended and 15 active members with special assignment were selected to work as party representative. M Sanjit Singh was selected as Covenor and K K Keshri as Co Convenor to lead the body of Minority Wing, Dimapur II AC till final approval from Central office.
Minority Wing office bearers, central and division were present during selection of office bearers. Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President of NPF Minority Wing Central along with Prem Singh Meetei (GS), Shiv Kumar BK (GS) and Arun Thapa VP NPF Minority Wing Central were the speakers.
Bhattacharjee urged party men and women to work sincerely with patience to enjoy the fruits of hard work within very short time. Wing President lauded the initiative of party workers in formation of committee in grass root level which will strengthen NPF in a cosmopolitan city like Dimapur. The committee will work under the guidance and supervision of its Central and Division office as per party guidelines, added the release.
Bhattacharjee added that AC Level committee shall work under the leadership of present elected NPF MLA Moatoshi Longkumar and Azheto Zhimomi in Dimapur district. The house also resolved to firmly uphold and support the leadership of Dr Shurhozelie Leizietsu President NPF Central, K G Kenye Secretary General NPF & MP Lok Sabha and leader of opposition T R Zeliang.
