NDA launches jersey in Kohima on July 16 for the upcoming events

A total of 15 darters from Nagaland will be participating at the upcoming two major National Darts event at Kolkata and Varanasi.
13 darters will participate at the 10th BRC Summer Darts Open Championship to be held from July 17 to 21 at Kolkata under the aegis of Bengal Rowing Club in collaboration with the Indian Darts Council.
The player will participate at various categories at the coveted BRC championship where players from all over the country including abroad will partake.
Players from Nagaland have participated in Darts Championships outside the state earlier on several occasions.
This year participation will be the largest contingent and seemingly the strongest and much more prepared, according to Nagaland Darts Association (NDA).
Coinciding with the BRC 2024 event, another two darters from Nagaland will participate at an event organised by the All India Darts Association (AIDA) to partake at three major categories from July 19 to 21 at Varanasi, i.e. All India ranking Darts Championship 2024, selection for WDF Asia - Pacific Cup 2024 from November 2-6 2024 at China, Taipei and Police Cup for selection to participate at “The Games of Heroes” - World Police & Fire Games 2025 at Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
Almost all players are self sponsored supported by a handful of well wishers charity and token contributions from Association only.
Meanwhile, NDA thanked the Dynamic School of Darts and Team One Nagaland for hosting the year long monthly tournaments in the state.
These initiatives have improved the performance of darters in general and the game of Darts in Nagaland, the Association stated.
Earlier, the NDA launched jersey in Kohima on July 16 in the presence of its president Limatoshi, Secretary Burakum Ao and executive member David Solo.
