The 17th Music Awards of Nagaland (MAN) 2025 has officially opened for entries from September 22, with the submission window closing on October 20. Eligible entries include songs released between September 2024 and September 30, 2025.

All submissions will undergo review, categorisation, and short listing by a panel of judges. Nominated videos will be featured on the official website and social media platforms starting October 25. Judging criteria will be based on composition, originality, performance, sound engineering, and production quality.

This year’s awards ceremony will feature seven main categories and six sub-categories, and is scheduled to take place on November 29 at Town Hall, Dimapur.

Established in 2009 by the Native Trax Society (NTS), the Music Awards of Nagaland is the only platform of its kind in the state, dedicated to recognising and celebrating the talents of local musicians across all genres. Over the years, it has become an important stage for promoting innovation, professionalism, and visibility within Nagaland’s music community.

According to the organisers’ official website, with the right infrastructure and exposure, musicians from Nagaland have consistently proven their ability to compete on an international level—a claim underscored by the achievements of nominees and winners over the past 16 years.
