Our Correspondent Kohima | October 21 Nagaland Police (Blue) today overpowered Barak FC two goals to nil, to claim the 3rd place in the ongoing 17th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy. Muluvoto Rhakho and Tiasunep contributed a goal each for Nagaland Police (Blue) in the 23rd and 36th minutes respectively. Zhavilie of Nagaland Police (Blue) and Raja of Barak FC were cautioned with yellow cards. Nagaland Police (Blue) will receive a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 sponsored by Keviselhou Sekhose while the fourth placed Barak FC will pocket Rs. 30,000 sponsored by Jack Dozo, Finance Secretary Chakhesang Public Organization. Earlier, Pfiikhrielie Peseyie, Vice President Angami Public Organization graced today’s match as match patron. The grand finale will take place on October 22 at 1:00 PM with Minister for School Education & SCERT Yitachu as the chief guest.
