NUSU- KC and End of an Era today qualified for next round after registering win in their respective match at the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 under the aegis of Angami Students Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
NUSU- KC- 2, Rooster FC-1
NUSU- KC defeated Rooster FC Phesama 2-1 in the first match.
M. Phaowang opened the account for NUSU- KC in the 28th minute and later connected second goal for the team in the 76th minute.
A lone goal for Rooster FC came through Abei Kaimo in the 46th minute.
M Phaowang bagged the Man of the Match award, which was handed over by Mhalievilie Medoze, former general secretary Angami Students' Union.
End of an Era-2, Chüziema FC- 0
End of an Era downed Chüziema FC 2-0 in the second match.
Medoneito connected the first goal for the winning team End of an Era in the 12th minute.
The winning goal for the team came through Nyithong in the 56th minute.
Sanyem was awarded the Man of the Match title, which was handed over by Kezhazer Angami, former president Angami Students' Union.
