Asiifü Football Academy and New Market FC today registered win in their respective match at the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023 under the aegis of Angami Students’ Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Asiifü FA-2, Sechü FC-0
Asiifii Football Academy blanked Sechü FC 2-0 in the first match.
Lamgumlal Kigpin connected the first goal for Asüfü Football Academy in the 42nd minute.
P. Sorormi Thingsang scored the winning goal for the team in the 84th minute.
Lamgumlal Kigpen was awarded the man of the match. The award was handed over by Kevikhrietuo Dawhuo, former ASU executive.
New Market FC- 10, Ignite FC -0
New Market FC defeated Ignite FC by 10-0 in the second match
Thejasetuo Gwirie fetched four goals for New Market FC in the 7th, 20th, 27th and 45th minute
Neisede Peseyie also contributed hattrick in the 14th, 68th and 69th minute.
Petevizo Kezeo added two goals in the 36th and 46th minute.
The team gained another goal through Khiuwangbo Kaurintah.
