DIMAPUR, JANUARY 28 (MExN): The 26th Wrestling Meet of the Khezha/Khuzha Tephe Wrestling Association was held on January 24 at Government High School Ground, Lepfhe, Khezhakeno.
Senovielhou Kadzüso of Khezhakeno Village emerged as the champion defeating Pfütsüpe Koza in the final bout.
With this, the champion walked away with cash prize of Rs.20,000 while the runner up received Rs.15,000. Vekope Chiezou came third and received Rs.15,000 while the fourth placed winner won Rs.7,000.
A total of twelve wrestlers – the four position winners along with eight other wrestlers have been selected to represent KKTWA at the forthcoming wrestling meet of the Chakhesang Wrestling Association.
Earlier in the day, Khape Koza, Principal District & Session Judge graced the opening ceremony as Guest Speaker. Z Kepfelhou Koza was the Guest of Honour at the closing ceremony and gave away the prizes.
