DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 4 (MExN): The 2nd Tokhu Wokha Open Badminton Championship started today with Benrithung Kikon, Accounts Officer, DRDA Wokha as the special guest. He encouraged the players not to play just for the sake of playing a tournament but to cultivate professionalism. He said that during their times such advanced tournaments were not seen but this present generation has the infrastructure to cultivate their skills. He further challenged the players not to play just for this Tokhu Open Championship but to bring achievements and laurels to the district and state as well. Kikon also sponsored the prize money of the tournament and declared the tournament open.
