The shooters from Nagalad who won medals at the 10th North East Zone Shooting Championship 2023.

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 27 (MExN): 5 shooters from Nagaland won a total of 9 medals at the 10th North East Zone Shooting Championship 2023 organized by the Shooting Association of Meghalaya (SAM) which was held at the shooting ranges, Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya from August 20 to 27.
Alltogether 227 shooters from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland participated at the Championship and Assam was adjudged the overall Champion.
17 shooters from Nagaland participated at the Championship and bagged 9 medals.
A press release from the Nagaland Rifle Association informed that seven shooters from Nagaland qualified to participate at the 66th National Shooting Championship Competitions (NSCC) 2023 during November/December 2023.
Meanwhile, the 11th North East Zone Shooting Championship (NEZSC) 2024 has been declared to be held in Nagaland, organised by Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur conducted by Nagaland Rifle Association under the aegis of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
