A brief traditional landmark and history of Eno Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase

Since many years ago, Eno Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase lived in Raüma (Gaili) Village with the following boundaries:

North: Khuovarü
South: Tazamba (Resting Spot)
West: Nphorü
East: Darü

Since then there was no boundary dispute with any individual, clan or village. In the passage of time, Eno Khriesevi Kehie approached Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase and requested him to live and settle within his land. As such, Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase, allotted the land between Thevükerhukhurü and Darü to Eno Khriesavi Kehie. Lately after some years Raüma (Gaili) Village and Rüzaphema Village encroached on the land within Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase land mentioned above. As a result of the conflict between the two villages, a couple of innocent people were killed and conflict continued from bad to worse.

Therefore, the Chakhro Public Organization (CPO) and Zeliang Baudi the two apex tribal body felt the need to settle the issue amicably. In the process of their search for original land owner and traditional boundary the two apex tribal body approached the clan of Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase for authentication. As such, Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase’s clan narrated whole story in detail at their satisfaction.

As such, the conflict between the two villages and signing of an agreement between them is baseless and unfounded since the land does not belong to any one of them. We the Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase’s clan acknowledges the land given to Eno Khriesevi Kehie by Vodzüno Kehia-u Meyase if Eno Khriesevi Kehie clans/people treasure the gift and abide by the traditional land boundary. We the Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase’s clan acknowledges the reconciliation between the two villages but the agreement between them regarding the land is baseless and we vehemently rejected as it was done without the consent of the land owners (Vodzüno Kenia-u Meyase’s clan), CPO and Zeliang Baudi.

We therefore urge every loving and right thinking citizens, organization to bear with this truth and deliver justice.
