Advertise post vacancies, declare CESE results: NNQF
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 12 (MExN): The Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) asked the Nagaland Public Service Commission to advertise the posts requisitioned to the latter and also declare the Common Education Service Exam held on March 9, 2019 at the earliest.
The NNQF underlined the demand in a press release in which it cited RTI disclosures informing of the NSPC requisitioning as many as 68 posts of Assistant Professors in the Higher Education Department for advertisement.
“According to the notification No. HE/ESTT/2-6/2007 dated 9th August, 2018 and Office Memorandum No. CAB 2/2013, dated 5th July 2018, 110 Assistant Professors were created and approved to be recruited within the year 2018-2019 (68 posts) and 2019-2020 (42 posts),” it said.
While maintaining that 68 of the posts have received the approval of the Governor on August 9, the NNQF said that it has been making the demand for advertising 110 posts of Assistant Professors and Librarians in the HE Department since September 2018.
In light of this, it demanded that the posts requisitioned to the NPSC be advertised and the remaining be also requisitioned for “advertisement and recruitment within the stipulated time” and the CESE results be declared.
“We submit our pleas in writing and continue to display our faith in the government and the concerned departments with the hope that other forms for demand of rights will not be required.”
