Ukhrul, July 29 (MExN): ALS Ukhrul conducted an IAS and IIT JEE/NEET scholarship test on July 29 at its two coaching centres – Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School and St. Joseph College. Two hundred candidates took the test, the objective of which is to waive coaching fees against the courses fee for the meritorious students, according to a press release. The top two candidates each (one male and one female) for IAS and IIT JEE/NEET respectively will have a 100% fee waiver on the course fee, whereas all the remaining candidates will have a fee waiver ranging from 75% to 25% on the course fee depending on their merits. It was informed that the first batch of ALS Ukhrul commences on August 21. Any interested candidates who did not take part in the scholarship test can get registered for the coaching before the commencement of the class, however, without fee waiver, the release informed.
