•-I, on behalf of the Konyak Public and Patients of Civil Hospital, Mon wholeheartedly appreciate the Doctors , Nurses and other staffs of Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) posted at the Hospital for the their yeoman service rendered towards the people of Mon District .
The coming of MSF to Mon is a God sent blessing in many ways. The MSF team has brought along with them many good facilities to the Hospital. Lighting system and sanitation of the Hospital has undergone a great change for better. More than the material improvement is the sense of devotion to duty, selfless service, punctuality and sincerity that has been brought by the MSF team to the working environment of the Hospital. The poor patients of Mon District are treated free of cost with utmost dedication and they are even transported and treated at other better hospitals within and outside the state with full expenditure borne by the MSF.
The people of Mon District are also equally grateful to the Doctors , Nurses and other staffs of Civil Hospital , Mon and the Medical Department under the able leadership of the Honorable Medical Minister for their services and for providing the necessary infrastructures and other developmental works in the field of health care.
However, the only shortcoming of the Hospital is inability to carry out any Operation in the Hospital due to non-availability of Anesthetists. Therefore, the concerned Department is requested to immediately post an Anesthetist to the Hospital.
