Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): The Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Police apprehended one armed cadre of NNC GDRN (NA) in general area Signal Angami, Dimapur on February 8.
According to a press release from the HQ IGAR (N), “based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles along with Police representative launched an operation and apprehended one armed cadre of NNC GDRN (NA) and recovered one .32mm pistol with magazine and five rounds of .32mm pistol.”
The apprehended individual along with the recovered items have been handed over to Sub Urban Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it added.
