Peren, January 18 (MExN): Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted lecture on ‘global warming and climate change’ at COB Peren on January 18. The aim of the lecture was to generate awareness amongst students and youth on the rapid change in weather patterns due to global warming. It covered the need for maintaining ecological balance and measures to arrest the looming threat. 40 students from Peren Government College attended the lecture.
