Are Naga youths more concerned for the welfare of the society?

Those who voted YES had this to say:
•    Youth have come out against rampant corruption that are going on in overground and underground societies. The youth know that to have a welfare society corruption at all levels should be done away
•    Sure, youths are more concerned for the society than the so called leaders. These leaders are all running after their own selfish interests. These leaders include great leaders from: NSCN (IM), NSCN (K), NNC/FGN, Naga Hoho, Church, NSF,...even NPMHR. Did I forget anyone else? Ah yes!!! POLITICIANS, aaaand Bureaucrats. That means whoever holds responsibility doesn’t care for the society.
•    JUST THINK HARD. THIS IS UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTH. This is the greatest disease plaguing the Naga society.

Those who voted NO had this to say:
•    Where is the concern? Whereas a few lot are concerned, the larger mass is totally oblivious to our state of affairs. Unlike our elders, Naga youths are becoming very irresponsible, materialistic and selfish.
•    No, they only concentrate on their own enjoyment.
•    Because they lack moral support
•    They are more concerned about employment or rather say career
•    Haha… Naga youths? They are more of a fashion statement – empirically. Without doubt, there are some who cares about our society but there are hardly anybody who is loyal enough to sacrifice for social good…we lack patriotism. It is sad but it is true. What say?
•    Mostly they are into attitude, substance addict, fighting and own individual gain. None care for society.
•    It because of the fact that the youths are running after the materialistic things in the world and as a result leading it to forget their own society and culture and leading a life  of other’s, that is why Nagas are like servant serving for two masters and it will never be succeeded
•    Naga youths are living in a confused society. So, youths are not to be blame.
•    No, I’m sad to say so but it is the truth. Look around! The youth’s of today, or for that matter even the elders are more interested in money and their materialistic possessions and flaunting it. Most youths who join organisations of one kind or the other are more interested in increasing their popularity or in earning money (through unfair means), rather than really working for the welfare of the people. But I do not blame them entirely. I, myself take part of the blame for not doing enough and for being ignorant. I am not alone in this but it just goes to show the mentality of the Naga people - “Knowing but doing nothing”. Most of the Naga youths know about the political, economic, social scenarios. You name it, they know it! The Naga political issue is a complex issue but that does not mean we do not understand it. We have a long way to go and as Frost (if I am not mistaken) put it - “MILES TO GO BEFORE WE SLEEP!”
•    Society does not give more contribution to the development of the society.
•    Yes, because the youths have a selfless outlook on society. For instance, the “Mias” were chased out of Mokokchung because of concern for the welfare of the  Naga society. Another change is the growing spiritual outlook on life amongst the youths which has a direct influence on society. For instance, many Naga churches have pastors who are young or youths. They have realised that peace is one of the constituents of restoration which church is called to do.
•    Most will say yes, but No it is only lips service. If they are, they would stop drinking and act fools. It is observed that Naga young people are killing by the substances they used. They are lazy, wanderer, not serious about what their live is about. An individual constitute a society, so if an individual is have concern about good society. He or she would behave in way that would benefit that society. And again coming to Naga political problem is one of the reason that is also making Naga youths unconcern about society as well. Like me many are tired of this untrustworthy political leaders. Youth are so much concern and even to death but they hated leaders. Leaders are manipulators.
•    They think only for one day enjoyment
•    Living an easy life at their parent’s money/wealth.

Those who voted MAY BE had this to say:
•    Can we have some more options? Naga youths are definitely on the progressive path and they think about the welfare of the society too. But the prevailing dictatorship situation negates the growth of youth capability.
•    On one hand there is increase in youth raising concerns relating to roads/ use & misuse of public funds/unfair conduct of job interviews etc..,while on the other youth are still caught up with subjective politics/ tribalism- for instance ‘quit notice.’
•    Ask yourself
