Itanagar, August 20 (PTI): Tourism will be the future of Arunachal Pradesh in the coming years as the state will overhaul the sector and market ‘Brand Arunachal’ to the world, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said. The state government was committed to utilizing the tourism potential of the state to the optimum level in a professional way by marketing ‘Brand Arunachal’ to the world, Khandu told a delegation of Arunachal Pradesh Tour Operators Association on Friday. “We need to create a brand, which resonates with the youths of the country. A holistic tourism roadmap with focus on high end and adventure tourism will be drawn up and put in place soon,” an official statement said on Saturday quoting Khandu. Tourism is one sector, besides development of hydro resources, that can generate revenue for the state exchequer and create employment for the people, he said.
