Atma Nirbhar Bharat Scheme launched in Dimapur

Diampur, June 20 (MExN): The Atma Nirbhar Bharat Scheme (ANBS) which is basically for migrant workers was launched in Dimapur by the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS at Burma camp on June 18. DC Dimapur distributed rice to around 100 migrant workers. A DIPR report stated that the DC has informed the beneficiaries under Atma Nirbhar Bharat Scheme (ANBS) to collect their ration of 5 kgs of rice per person per month for 2 months (May & June) from their respective FPS from June 22 (Monday). ADS Dimapur, S Kavito Awomi informed that the scheme would cover 48,299 beneficiaries covering 8967 households. Those who do not have ration card and are not covered by NFSA are entitled for the scheme on producing Aadhar Card or Driving Licence, Pan Card or Election Voters Card.
