Ato Nienu’s debut album ‘I will come’ released

MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu and Ato Nienu along with others during the launching of gospel album in Kohima on January 19.

Ato Nienu’s debut album entitled “I will come” was released today at LCS building Conference Hall in Kohima on Saturday evening.


MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu released this audio music album consisting of nine songs including ‘Jihovah Medo’ that won the Best Gospel Dialect during the Nagaland Music Awards 2016.


Addressing the function, Azo said that life is full of opportunities.
“We are living in a paradox of choices,” he said adding that whoever chooses the correct career will excel and shine in life.


He observed that Nagas faith are shallow, saying “we pray and fast but we don’t work what we pray, that’s how we don’t shine in life.”


Rukuvoto Ringa sharing about the story of the album said the debut album “I will come” is a revelation from God inspired from a prayer center where he took the initiative for the album began.


Having face spiritual warfare and passing all the test of time, he drew inspiration from different situations, Ringa said.


There are many musicians who cannot write their own songs but God gifted him with both writing and singing talent, asserted Ringa. Ato Nienu is also the vocalist of gospel band ‘Cadence’ and has been performing with his band and also as a solo artiste.


He was also the winner of Hornbill Solo Competition 2015. The album was recorded by sound engineer and musician Aseu Chadi, former guitarist of Divine Connection and Cypress.
