DIMAPUR, AUGUST 28 (MExN): Auto Gallery Dimapur defeated the Friends of Society Jalukie with a solitary goal in the first semifinal of the 2nd Autumn Cup. The match witnessed the AG FC testing the defenses of the FOS with speed but lacking in finishing.
On the other half, the FOS forward were found wanting inspite of fine short passes inside the Goal area. The solitary goal came from the boot of Francis Muktar in the 50th minute. Final score was in favor of Auto Gallery FC Dimapur 1:0.
In the second Semifinal, Kuki Golgnai FC dominated the game from the first whistle. The KGFC completely controlled the midfield area with their meticulous short passes and constantly attacking the Net on the Medziphema Warrior. The lead came early in the 18th and 23rd minute from the boot of Bebem. The lead was further extended when a sharp blinder from Haogin from zero angle found the net in the 29th minute. The Second half saw the KGFC preferring more ball possession with occasional attack. The Medziphema warrior found the net of KGFC in the 69th minute from Videbol. The game was sealed when Lalbem found the net in the 72nd minute. Final score was 4:1 in favor of KGFC.
