‘Awareness on sanitation and cleanliness should reach all’

Tuensang: National Rural Drinking Water & Sanitation Awareness week launched at CKS hall Tuensang on February 20. Several dignitaries, NGOs Students attended the programme. Mhabemo Yanthan Deputy Commissioner Tuensang was the chief guest and the Deputy CMO Tuensang Dr. Phangjung was the guest of honour of the launching programme.

Yanthan said that awareness on sanitation and cleanliness should start from kitchen itself rather expecting others doing for us. The awareness for the cleanliness and safety of the drinking water and sanitation should spread to everyone and should reach everyone as possible.

The guest of the honour, Deputy CMO Tuensang, Dr. Pangjung shared on the subject matter related to Drinking water and sanitation its disease and how to prevent it. He also shared on the transmission of disease through faeces and its hazard.

EE PHED Tuensang Er Vikousa Khape shared highlight to the programme. Representative of ECS and General Secretary CCSU also took part in short speeches. Chanjam Cultural Society and Ahsale Sep IEC consultant PHED Tuensang also entertained the programme with special numbers.
