Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The Aniwuzahlim Yimchungru Lliberu Arih-Ako (AYLA) Western Yimchungru Woman Organization celebrated its third general session at Old Showuba village local ground with Nyathei Phom, wife of Pangnyu Phom, minister for industries as guest of honor on January 24.
Speaking on the occasion, Nythem Phom said that it is very important to have a society in order to build relationship among the community and to uplift traditional culture identity. She asserted that role of women has very important impact on the society. She encouraged all to work towards the development of the society. Stating that many part of the region is completely dominated by illegal immigrants, she discouraged marriage of “Naga women with non-local” and said, “We should collectively spread the message to our younger generation not to take false decision.”
Meanwhile, Tsuyimla, women pastor SBC invoked God’s blessing, welcome addressed was delivered by Ajila Kiri, vice president AYLA, exhortation by Alemla Throngso, Chumukidima AYLA unit and Showuba AYLA unit presented special numbers and Khetoni Mure delivered vote of thanks followed by concluding mass prayer.
