Wokha, November 17 (MExN): The monthly Departmental co-ordination meeting of Bhandari sub-division was held at the Lotha Customary Law Court, Bhandari on November 14. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tiameren Chang thanked the Officers for their cooperation all through the year and welcomed the new members posted in the sub-division.
According to a DIPR report, the house, while discussing on the status of water supply and electricity services, the chairman, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tiameren Chang, appreciated and observed that Public Service departments like Electrical and PHE departments should have consumer friendly and systematic management and billing system in their services for the benefit of both the public and the departments.
Sharing a success story in regard to an initiative taken to bring about 100% computer literacy at the Office of the Administrative Headquarter, Bhandari, the chairman stated that 95% of the office staff are now computer literate, and further encouraged the house to create Computer literacy environment at their respective offices. He also stated that in the interest of public service, starting from 15 January, 2019, attendance of all government servants will be strictly viewed and reminded the officers to cooperate.
It was also decided that the next co-ordination meeting will be held at the Officers Forum’s adoption proposed Village, Hayiyan, on December 8, where the chairman stated that members concerned are to attend without fail.
Earlier, after reviewing the last meeting agenda’s minutes, the meeting deliberated and decided to defer the construction of the approved approve it was Traffic Island at Bhandari Town in the early part of the year 2019. With regard to a proposal for construction of marketing shed at the Yimparasa Junction on Wokha-Merapani road for the villagers, the house decided to approach the Agri and Allied departments for their suggestive inputs.
