Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): Nagaland State BJP and its units have mourned the demise of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) Kiphiri district president, Thsachola Sangtam on September 29.
The BJP Nagaland in a message from its general secretary, Jaangsillung Gonmei said Thsachola strived hard to achieve the party’s goal and contributed immensely for the party’s development in the district. “A tireless worker, she encouraged her fellow workers to work hard for the party to bring development to the district,” it added. The BJP State President and all the party workers of the State prayed for the departed soul and also for the strength of her family members.
The Nagaland State BJMM meanwhile acknowledged that Thsachola was an energetic and tireless worker who never failed to discharge her duties efficiently. “She was a courageous woman who took up the challenge to lead the mahilas of Kiphire district through thick and thin. She believed in the empowerment of women of the district in general and worked towards realizing this by strengthening the party and ensuring electoral victory,” stated a message from Sanuo Ngullie, president, Nagaland BJMM. It stated that her death is a great loss for the BJP Mahilas, particularly the Kiphire district Mahilas. The BJMM stated it will always remain indebted to her for her service and prayed for the departed soul and her family.
In a separate message, BJP Minority Morcha remembered the deceased as a very active leader who worked for the downtrodden people. Her untimely death is a great loss for the people of Kiphire district in particular and the people of Nagaland in general, stated Mukibur Rahman, president, Nagaland BJP Minority Morcha. It extended condolences to the bereaved family members during this time of grief.
