BJP Mandal distributes food packets in Dimapur

Dimapur, September 23 (MExN): The BJP Mandal Party 1 Dimapur Assembly Constituency (AC) commemorating the birthday of MLA and Advisor for Power Government of Nagaland, H Tovihoto Ayemi distributed food packets to the “poor and needy” in the heart of Dimapur City on September 22.

A press release issued by the Media Cell 1 Dimapur Assembly Constituency, BJP Mandal stated that the party workers distributed food packets at Marwaripatti areas and various public places, and visited the District Hospital Dimapur.

It added that the food packets were also distributed to the general public and earlier lunch was prepared and arranged at Netaji Colony railway station areas, “where around thousand people of homeless and beggars were fed in the city.” 

“The party workers also held a prayer of blessing for H Tovihoto Ayemi on his birthday celebration at his private residence in Dimapur.  This is a first time the BJP Mandal of 1 Dimapur, AC has undertaken a noble initiative to feed the poor and the needy in the city coinciding the birthday of advisor power,” the release said.
