Bye-election Observers reach Tuensang district

Tuensang, October 8 (MExN): In view of the bye-election for the 58 Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency, the General Observer and the Expenditure Observer have reached Tuensang on October 7. 

According to a DIPR report, the General Observer also visited the 58 Shamator-Chessore Assembly Constituency to assess the preparation and was present during the filing of nomination of the candidates the same day. 

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Tuensang briefed the Observers about the preparations for the conduct of elections in the constituency and handed over the District Election Management Plan in the DC Office chamber, Tuensang. 

The General Observer and the Expenditure Observer with respect to the Bye-elections are presently residing in the Room No.1 and Room No.2 of the Circuit House, Tuensang respectively. Any feedback/suggestions/complaints with respect to the conduct of the Bye-elections can be communicated to the respective observers during normal working hours.
