Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): CAN Youth conducted a one-day training on paper bag making on October 6 at Rotary Club Dimapur Hall. The training was supported by Dimapur Municipal Council and conducted for members of Mercy Society Dimapur.
Zhove Love, Secretary, CAN Youth shared the importance of paper bags and to promote the eco-friendly system and minimize the usage of plastic use, CAN Youth Chief Functionary Jenpu Rongmei stated in a press release.
He also encouraged the members of Mercy society to look into the possibility of income generation model through marketing paper bags. CAN Youth also acknowledged the effort of Dimapur Municipal Council led by Moa Sangtam , Administrator to promote the paper bags to replace plastic bags.
