In the midst of nationwide lockdown over Corona virus, the Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima (CBCK) along with others too suspended Sunday worship service today and instead embarked “Sunday home worship service.”
Through social media, the CBCK circulated the schedule of home worship service beginning this Sunday for the members to worship and pray at their respective home.
The prayer points set by CBCK today include; pray for God for his faithfulness and protection till now, God’s intervention to stop the virus spread, pray for who are at home but isolate or in quarantine centres for strength, peace of mind and healing, travelers who are stranded on the way and students/children who could not return and also pray for central/state government departments like medical, Nagaland State Disaster Management Agency, National/State Disaster Response Force, Police, district administration, municipal bodies etc. for prudent decision, efficient condition and good health.
Meanwhile, the CBCK pastoral staff encouraged the church members to cooperate with the government orders to stay at home and worship the Lord as a family.
