Kohima, September 9 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK), Men Fellowship Department will host a combined fathers’ camp for Thürütsüswü and Khütsa Baptist Churches from September 13 to 15 at the Thürütsütswü Baptist Church under the theme, “Stand firm in the Faith; Be Men of Courage.” (1 Corinthians 16:13).
According to a press note appended by Camp Media Coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho, CBCMHK Senior Pastor, Rev Dr Vevo Phesao; Pastor, Rev Dr Wepre Mero; Associate Pastor; Thujoneyi Veswuh; Deacon, Mayhu Sasü and Dr Itolü Tünyi will be the panel of speakers during the 3 days long camp while CBCMHK Associate Pastor, Asüne Swuro will lead the session of the ‘Devotional Talk’.
“Stand Firm in the Lord; Be Me of courage,” “Renewing Marital Vows and Relationship”, “The power of faith, prayer and blessings”, “Seek the Lord and live”, “Righteous father”, “Father’s role in the church and the society today”, “As for me and my family we will serve the Lord”, “Father’s role in parenting” and “Healthcare” are some of the topics the panel speakers will share with the campers.
The release also stated that there will be 5 gospel worship services where Vemüsü Cürha, Surhoneyi Soho, Vethikhoyi Khamo, Kevechüpe Koza and Cekhwüsayi Swuro will lead the 5 consecutive worship services while Liengute Doulo will be the leader of the Fellowship services.
“A sum of Rs. 50 only shall be collected from the campers as the registration fee. Pen, file, slip pad shall be provided to the entire campers. The organizers appeal all believers and campers to pray come and be blessed,” the release said.
